Enercom, manufacturer of power monitoring systems, and North have announced
the release of a North XOM (eXtensible Object Model) communications driver for the
Enercom IES and Enercom IsoRack. This furthers the progress of integrating power
metering and monitoring systems into building controls infrastructures. The driver
is available on the Compass platform as well as for ObSys.

The information available from the Enercom IsoBase driver gives the ability for
multi channel earth leakage monitoring and potential earth fault monitoring.
Active current values and their relation to each particular set level alarm can be displayed.
The Enercom IsoRack driver provides access to a set of earth leakage monitoring channels. The driver enables information about the state and current value of each channel to be monitored. Also having the ability to adjust the system parameters, such as alarm levels, time delays, etc.
