The new display module for North Zip networks puts a firm stake in the ground for integrated Building Management Systems from a single manufacturer.

The new display module (Zip M7201A) takes an address on the Zip network and is served information from any User Data or OBVEngine module. Engineers can simply populate the User Data for an automatic display or create their own display system using an OBVEngine. Up to 16 displays can be connected to each Zip network - provided spare addresses are available.

A standard User Data in Commander holds up to 20 pages, each with up to 16 values. Each value can be set to read only or adjustable. The Zip display module uses these values, labels and settings to create a simple user interface onto any device attached to the North eXtensible Object Model (via Zip, Commander, Compass or ObSys). A user can easily navigate through pages and view or adjust values on the network. Once a User Data has been configured standard web browser pages in Commander can also access the same values.

The Zip display module has 4 user buttons, blue-backlit LCD screen, and a variety of faceplate finishes to compliment your commercial or residential decor.

Available standard faceplate and button finishes include: anodised aluminium, black anodised aluminium, and gold anodised aluminium.
Other finishes may be supplied by special request (minimum order quantities apply).

Housed using a 2-gang electrical mounting box (pattress, dry-lining box, etc.), the display may be wall, panel or surface mounted.
