North Building Technologies is proud to announce the launch of Data Manager - the data logger and data analysis software package for ObSys.

Data Manager is an advanced data logger. Collecting data, locally and remotely, from building services and sensors. Data Manager uses intelligent data analysis techniques to automatically learn the behaviour of logged values.Data Manager can then generate alarms when a value deviates from its normal behaviour. Historical, real-time data graphs, and alarm condition are all available from Data Managers intuitive user interface.

Supporting up to 1,000 data logging channels, sensors may connect directly or remotely via IP networks, wireless, modems, RS232 and RS485. Combined with the power of North's eXtensible Object Model (XOM), Data Manager can log data from hundreds of compatible systems.

The intuitive user interface provides instant access to the collected data, displaying both historical trend logs and real-time data together. Powerful user tools are available to analyze the data including overlaying several traces for comparison, displaying the learnt profile, and positioning data analysis markers.

Data Manager is part of ObSys, the integrated building management system (iBMS) from North Building Technologies. Just configure which data channels you want to collect and then let Data Manager use its artificial intelligence to monitor your building. You can use the alarm and warning limits to feed-back into the control of your building - lowering energy costs and improving occupancy comfort.

The values collected by Data Manager may be exported to compatible applications, such as Microsoft® Excel. Alarms events generated by Data Manager may also be delivered to external devices using a variety of technologies such as SMS, printer, SNMP trap, email, sounders, etc.
