New Interface for Autometers Energy Meters

The new Autometers interface from North is compatible with both the Autometers EVOIC3 and IC800 Series multi-function meters.

Information available from each Autometers EVO IC Harmonic Analyser includes VT ratios, NT ratios, voltage details, apparent power, and harmonic details.

The meters should be fitted with the EvoIC Modbus communications cassette, factory configured to 9600 baud, 2 wire ASCII RTU configuration.


With all this information available from the new Autometers interface it makes it an ideal candidate to be logged by North Building Technologies Data Manager. Data Manager can compare several data logs on one view, and with a capability of 500,000 reading per log, months of data from the Autometers energy meters can be tracked, compared and monitored.

The new interface (AutomtrIC) forms part of a range of North interfaces for the Autometers multi-function meters:

  • AutomtrIC - compatible with meters fitted with the Evo IC Modbus communications cassette
  • AutomtrJ - compatible with meters fitted with Modbus communications cassette
  • Automtr - compatible with meters fitted with the HPIL communications cassette
