ALCSpectrum Interface

Schematic showing the ALC Lighting Controls interface connected to the North Object Model The ALCSpectrum interface links the ALC Spectrum lighting controls system to North's Extensible Object Model.

Although the ALC Spectrum lighting system is based on the CAN bus open protocol, an ALC RS232 interface module is required. The interface provides access to 16 virtual inputs and 8 virtual outputs.

These virtual points can then be mapped on to values within the lighting control system. The outputs provide a lighting level that may be read from, and the inputs provide a control state that may be written to.

Supported Range

ALC Spectrum lighting controls - via an AXDN42RS232 interface module.
