Web-based Automation Systems

What is a Web-based Automation System?

Take an existing control systems - lighting, fire, security, power-management, or whatever - and remove its proprietary display and replace it with a web-server capable of interacting with that automation system. Connect this web-server to your intranet, and you can now use any web-browser on the intranet to view and modify the automation system. Connect it to the internet, and you can have engineers manage your system remotely.
