Alarm Interface
The Alarm interface links various equipment that can output serial alarm messages in ASCII code to North's Extensible Object Model (XOM). The Alarm interface receives an alarm message from the attached system and reformats it to a North XOM Alarm. Once in an XOM format the various North alarm modules may process the alarm further.
