The CSIMR interface provides a gateway from the TAC and Control Systems International (CSI) I/NET system to North's Extensible Object Model, and allows the I/NET system to read and write values within the interface. The CSIMR interface allows the I/NET system to read/write values to North's Extensible Object Model only, and does not allow North's Extensible Object Model to read/write values from the I/NET system.
The 7793 (Micro Control Interface) or 7798 (I/SITE LAN) poll the attached units on the sub LAN, and is responsible for reading and writing values from/to the interface.
The CSIMR interface emulates several Micro Regulator (MR) units, each with 10 input and 10 output points which require configuring using the I/NET configuration software.
The following point types are supported:
Discrete Input (DI)
Discrete Alarm (DA)
Analog Input (AI)
Pulsed Input (PI)
Analog Output (AO)
Discrete Output (DO)
The CSIMR interface is available on the following North platforms:
| CP/CSIMR/485 | Compass Point with CSIMR interface |
