The Complus interface links the Complus Teltronic's intercom system to North's Extensible Object Model. The interface connects to the Complus Teltronic GE100, GE200, or GE700 intercom server.
The Complus intercom system consists of concierge stations and call points. A concierge station can make a direct call through to a call point. A call point may also call a concierge, but the concierge must accept the call before loudspeaker communications can begin.
The intercom system can be configured by the manufacturer to generate two separate sets of messages when calls are made by the stations:
The first set of messages relates to the stations in conversation. When a call is requested between stations, a message is generated that enables the Complus interface to store the addresses of the stations in conversation. The Complus interface is able to both accept and cancel a call, and also operate the relay for access control.
The second set of messages relates to video switchers. Stations can have camera and monitor numbers associated with them so that a particular camera is switched to a particular monitor when a station makes a call. The Complus interface is able to store the monitor and camera number.
