Elctrl Interface
The ElCtrl interface links a network of up to 8 Elcontrol Energy Net VIP Energy and VIP One compatible meters to North's Extensible Object Model. The units must support the Modbus ASCII protocol and have a RS485 serial output. Information available from each Elcontrol power meter includes voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, crest factor for each phase and total system, as well as frequency, averages and relay status.
The range of Elcontrol VIP Energy meters have now been discontinued.
The following Elcontrol Energy Net meters, using the Modbus IEEE protocol, are accessible and our standard JBus/Modbus interface: STAR3, STAR3 din, VIP396, VIP396din, DMM3, SIRO and ED39din.
