Kidde and KiddeVegaNet Interfaces
The Kidde interfaces links a Kidde Fire Protection GRS/MARS network to North's Extensible Object Model. Various fault conditions can be accessed from user-defined zones and wiring loops. The Kidde fire panel can generate reset alarms, fire alarms, isolation alarms, fault alarms and status alarms.
The KiddeVegaNet interface links Kidde GRS networks and supports Vega panels with the latest software, including sub-addressing.
The Kidde interface links Kidde MARS networks and supports older multiplex panels.
Supported Range
Kidde Vega panel – Supports 120 zones, across 16 wiring loops. The panel also supports 99 output groups, and 16 motherboard IO cards (only KiddeVegaNet interface supports sub-addressing).
Kidde Procyon panel – Supports 99 zones, across 16 wiring loops. The panel also supports 99 output groups.
Kidde Network Outstation - Supports 128 inputs.
Kidde Multiplex Central - Supports 32 outstations, each with 128 inputs (MARS networks only).
