North Building Technologies

The McQyRC interface links the McQuay International's range of Reciprocating Chillers to North's Extensible Object Model. The OSM supports both European and American manufacture Reciprocating Chiller Controllers in the following configurations:

Single chiller control panel connected directly to the OSM
Up to 63 chillers connected via an McQuay OPM panel to the OSM

Supported Range

McQuay International manufactures European chillers using one of three software (and hardware) configurations. In the United States, chillers use a single hardware configuration but which may be configured, through software, to operate as chillers or as templifiers (temperature amplifiers).

Group 1: European reciprocating chillers below 100 tons (CR1)
Group 2: European reciprocating chillers 100 to 200 tons (CR2)
Group 3: European reciprocating chillers above 200 tons (CR4)
American manufacture reciprocating chillers
