MegaPoint Interface
The MegaPoint interface links an Agritron MegaPoint sensor monitoring system North's Extensible Object Model.
The system consists of an Isolator 2 unit which interfaces to up to 64 sensor cards. Each sensor card has 8 microvolt channels and a cold junction reference. The channels can be used to measure outputs from thermocouples and infra-red temperature sensors.
The interface can obtain values from an input. The input measures microVolts, and the value can be read directly, or can be converted, via lookup tables for J-type thermocouples, K-type thermocouples, or Exetherm Irt/c.EM infra-red sensors
