PCInfo Interface
The PCInfo interface provides information about a PC specification to North's Extensible Object Model (XOM).
The interface can also provide a watchdog timer reset facility to ObSys if a compatible PC card is fitted.
The watchdog is triggered by the interface using a configurable timer, if the watchdog timeout period expires the PC is rebooted.
Information on the PC specification includes:
- Processor type and count
- Windows operating system version
- Physical memory used and total available
- Current date and time, time ObSys last started
- Watchdog control
Supported Range
Watchdog functions require a B&B Electronics PC watchdog timer card, model PCWDT.
