Silcon Interface
The Silcon interface links an APC Silcon Series UPS to North's Extensible Object Model.
The interface supports the following UPS commands, allowing values to be read and control functions to be performed.
Control commands - test mode, shutdown;
Status Inquiry commands - battery info, run-time remaining, inverter info;
Power Inquiry commands - current, power, voltages.
Silcon Power Electronics was acquired by APC in 1998, and their product range rebranded as the APC Silcon Series.
