The JBusDev and JDevMax interfaces provide a gateway from systems supporting the JBus and ModBus open protocol to North's Extensible Object Model. The JBusDev interface is a JBus/Modbus slave device containing registers which may be accessed by a JBus/Modbus master device.
Multiple interfaces can be connected to the same JBus network, and accessed from the same master device.
The JbusDev/JDevMAX interfaces can communicate with any system supporting JBus/Modbus master protocol in either binary (RTU) or ASCII mode.
The JbusDev/JDevMAX interfaces are available on the following North platforms:
| CP/JBUSDEV/232 | Compass Point with JbusDev interface |
| CP/JBUSDEV/485 | Compass Point with JbusDev interface |
| OSM/JBUSDEV | OSM available with all ObSys editions |
| CP/JDEVMAX/485 | Compass Point with JDevMAX interface |
| OSM/JDEVMAX | OSM available with all ObSys editions |
