LonSLTA Interface
The LonSLTA interface links a LonWorks network, via an Echelon Serial LonTalk Adapter (SLTA-10), to North's Extensible Object Model. Standard network variables within each of the LON products on the LON network can be accessed from the interface, along with network variable configuration and domain tables.
Each device on the LON network, including the SLTA, must be assigned a domain number. Devices can communicate with other devices within the same domain as them. One aspect of engineering is to determine which in domain the SLTA will reside.
Supported Range
LonMark devices on a TP/FT-10 network, including:
TAC Xenta - 100 300 and 400 bms Controllers
Siebe I/A Series - MicroNet MNL-V1RVX and MNLV2RVX VAV Controls
Philips Helio - Lighting Control System
Daikin - VRV System, connect via the Daikin Lon BMS controller (ref: DCS601A51R)
And all LonMark compliant devices.
Due to a large diversity of Lon products in the market it is not possible to list them all. If you wish to check compatibility of a LON device with the North XOM please contact North Building Technologies with a copy of the .XIF file for the device.
