M7012A Data Acquisition module
The Zip M7012A is a 3 digital input, 2 digital output, 2 analogue input and 2 analogue output module. Each of the 3 digital inputs is designed to connect directly to a volt-free switch. The switch reads 'off' when the switch is open, and 'on' when the swich is closed. Each input has an on-board red LED that is lit when the input is on.
Each of the 2 digital outputs is capable of handling 277VAC @ 10A or 28VDC @ 10A. Each output has an on-board red LED that is lit when the output is on.
Each of the 2 analogue inputs can be configured to read 0-20mA, 0-5VDC, 0-10VDC, or for use with a 10K3A thermistor for temperature reading. The input readings can be rescaled to produce useful engineering units.
Each of the 2 analogue outputs can be configured to scale an input value to produce an output voltage in the range 0-10VDC

The M7012A relies on a proven RS485 network for communications between the modules and a ZipMaster. Compass, one version of the ZipMaster, sits on an RS485-based integration network which is compatible with over 200 different building-control systems, including CCTV, bms, security, lighting and many international standards. Another version of the ZipMaster, Commander, serves information directly onto IP as HTML web pages and can send alarm messages via e-mail.
