The M7101A is a fixed function Zip module designed to control a door. It has a Wiegand input for an HID (or similar) reader, tamper switch, request to exit input and an output capable of driving a 500kg holding force magnetic lock. It also has a fire over ride input which is hardwired to the lock output.
The 7101a uses a Commander, Integrator or ObSys 2.0 Tokenmax module to get authentication when a card is presented. The Zip network allows up to 16 7101a's to be daisy-chained back to a Commander, Integrator or ObSys 2.0. The TokenmAx module in ObSys and Integrator can handle up to 2000 Users (or "tokens").
A full graphical user interface for the system is available in either web server or stand alone application form using the ObSys 2.0 software suite. This allows the adding and deleting of cards, time control functions and also the ability to see who is in the building and in what location at any one time.
