M103B Local/Remote Shop Monitor module

The Zip M7103B Shop Monitor simplifies the management of tenanted buildings, providing both local security monitoring and centralised alarm management.

The M7103B Module has monitored security circuits which can be locally armed, temperature monitoring, and a range of auxilliary inputs/outputs. Although alarms from the circuits are indicated locally for the tenant, they are also reported to the central facility management system for fast response from security personnel.

The M7103B relies on a proven RS485 network for communications between the shop monitors and a ZipMaster. Compass, one version of the ZipMaster, sits on an RS485-based integration network which is compatible with over 200 different building-control systems, including CCTV, bms, security, lighting and many international standards. Another version of the ZipMaster, Commander, serves information directly onto IP as HTML web pages and can send alarm messages via e-mail.
