What are the system requirements for a PC that I wish to install ObSys on?

ObSys 2.0 is a 32-bit Windows® client application designed to operate on systems ranging from a minimal embeded platform to a resource rich server.

The following list describes the minimum hardware requirements for ObSys:

Computer/Processor	32-bit (x86) or 64-bit (x64) CPU at least 800MHz.
Operating System	Microsoft® Windows XP SP2 (32-bit), Windows Vista or Windows 7. Windows Server 2003 or 2008.
Memory	At least 512MB of RAM, dependent on operating system. More memory generally improves responsiveness.
Hard Disk	500MB of available space.
Drive	CD-ROM or USB drive, or access to one over a computer network.
Display	1024x768 or higher resolution monitor.
Keyboard	Required.
Pointing Device	Mouse or other compatible pointing device.
Ports	USB required for licence device.
Optional components:
	Serial ports (COM).
	Ethernet network adapter.
	Sound card and speakers.
	Access to CD-Writer or other removable storage device for distributing engineered ObSys solutions.

Notes

ObSys 2.0 has been tested to meet all of the technical requirements to be Compatible with Windows® 7.
